 Nur Ummi Nazhira Yasmin / 10621263 / 3SA09 Task 10 Future forms: 'will', 'be going to', and present continuous      For this assignment, I studied materials from the British Council Learn English learning app. I learned B1-B2 Grammar about Future forms: 'will', 'be going to', and present continuous. In this unit, there are materials, grammar test 1 and grammar test 2. The materials are easy to understand and short. We use different verb forms to talk about the plan for the future. For 'will' we use it to talk about spontaneous plans, for 'be going to' we use it to talk about plans decided, and for present continuous we use it when the plan is an arrangement. I have studied this before, but this is very helpful to remember this material.  Name     : Nur Ummi Nazhira Yasmin NPM       : 10621263 Class       : 3SA09 Task 9 English for Teaching Purposes    This is the third week of learning in Coursera. This week, I have learned about how to present supporting evidence, describe processes, express with linguistic confidence the cause and effect of a fact or phenomenon, and also learn to describe graphs and help learners process new information.  The third-week evaluation was quite easy. I only tried two tests and the first test was already above 80. Because I was still curious, so I tried the second test and the results were very satisfying. There is still one more test, I will try it again if I have time. It was great to study on the Coursera learning app.

 Name : Nur Ummi Nazhira Yasmin NPM: 10621263 Class: 3SA09 Task 8 English for Teaching Purposes I am continuing the second week of lessons from the Coursera learning app. This week, I learned about explaining and justifying, functions related to discourse structure such as how to start and end a class, and summarizing, functions related to clarifying concepts for students: giving examples, classifying, comparing and contrasting, defining. One example of such a question: Which type of definition is the following statement? “NMR is a phenomenon which happens when the nucleus of an atom is immersed in a static magnetic field and then exposed to …” And the answer is Context Definition. This week's learning evaluation was quite difficult for me. I retried more than twice, but I kept trying until I got the result I wanted.

Here, there are many types of learning and languages. I chose English for Teaching Purposes. Since I want to be a teacher, I tried this material. In the Week 1 material, I was taught about how to teach well, teaching strategies, methods, and others. The material is a bit difficult, but it is learning and I will keep trying.

 Name: Nur Ummi Nazhira Yasmin NPM: 10621263 Class: 3SA09 Hi! This is my first time using Duolingo. But I already knew about Duolingo and I always wanted to try this. The first language I learned was Japanese because I love watching Japanese animations and Japanese is not too unfamiliar to me. So here is my first unit. In this unit, I learned the most basic things for a beginner, such as: Vocabulary Characters How to order food and listening And, describe a person I am very happy learning on Duolingo. The teaching method is easy to understand and always repeated so that we as beginners do not easily forget the previous material. There are still many other lessons that I will learn later. In the next unit, it will be about how to introduce ourselves. I can't wait for that.
